Roadmap development
We are always interested to capture feedback and inputs from our customers. Our goal is to ensure that DeviceAtlas evolves in a way that accommodates changes in the technology environment, and therefore support our customers’ evolving needs. Accordingly, inputs are always welcome.
Our development policy is to have slow evolution of the API, and faster evolution of the data structure; this is to maximise backward compatibility and avoid requiring customers to update their APIs to get optimal results. However, major changes may result in recommended API updates.
Device manufacturers and mobile operators:
If you are releasing a new device, make sure it is in DeviceAtlas; this assures that the device will be recognised on launch on thousands of websites around the world. Since early adopters and reviewers are very influential, timely availability of data in DeviceAtlas is important.
DeviceAtlas has a Private Data capability to provide secure storage of unreleased devices, while permitting testing of the detection in advance of release through a custom JSON file delivery.
