Redirection

Use DeviceAtlas to accurately redirect visitors according to their device profile. DeviceAtlas identifies whether your visitor is a mobile device, desktop browser, crawler, robot or other visitor type, allowing the visitor to be directed to an experience appropriate to that device in order to optimize user experience. 

 

Why use DeviceAtlas for redirection? 

Many businesses use simple User Agent parsing methods to identify mobile traffic. These methods can identify a significant proportion of mobile traffic, looking for keywords such as ‘Android’ for example. However, the rapid growth in diversity and the rate of release of new devices makes these methods increasingly fragile.

A particular issue is that it is not possible to identify Android tablets through simple UA parsing, for example, so that these users are generally provided with sub-optimal content.

DeviceAtlas makes redirection easy and future-proof through daily updates of data and accurate identification of traffic types.
